Carolina Monica Henriquez, Esq., was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2022 and practices primarily in the area of Workers’ Compensation law. Before joining DeMicco-Nadler, Mrs. Henriquez practiced immigration and administrative law, representing clients before various federal agencies and administrative bodies. Her previous experience with complex administrative proceedings has provided her with a solid foundation in statutory interpretation, evidentiary analysis, and client advocacy, which she now applies in her workers’ compensation practice.
Mrs. Henriquez earned her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, in May 2022 from Florida International University College of Law, graduating in the top 6% of her class. During law school, Mrs. Henriquez was a Dean’s Merit Scholar, consistently named to the Dean’s List, and received two CALI Excellence for the Future awards. She was an active member of the Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocates and the Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, where she received the Outstanding Contributions Award in Spring 2022.
Additionally, she completed a legal internship at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Miami Field Office, where she prepared appellate briefs for the Board of Immigration Appeals in defense of agency determinations involving petition denials and fraud findings.
Before attending law school, Mrs. Henriquez earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health, cum laude, from the University of South Florida in May of 2018.
