Associate Attorney

Celeste Talavera

Celeste-Marie Talavera, Esq., is an Associate Attorney at DeMicco-Nadler, whose practice is primarily focused on workers’ compensation law. Before joining DeMicco-Nadler, Ms. Talavera practiced immigration and administrative law, representing clients nationwide before various federal agencies. Her prior experience refined her advocacy skills and attention to detail, strengthening her ability to navigate statutory frameworks, which she now applies in her current practice.

Ms. Talavera was admitted to The Florida Bar in September 2023. She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law, where she graduated in the top 20% of her class. During law school, she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar, appearing on the Dean’s List every semester, and earned the C.A.L.I. Award of Excellence in Professional Responsibility. During her time in law school, she held several leadership positions, including Vice President of the Cuban American Bar Association and President of the Women’s Law Society.

Her passion for client service was also evident through her work in FIU’s Clinical Programs, where she assisted clients with immigration, social security, and guardianship matters, as well as through her participation in the Death Penalty Clinic’s Balanced Justice Project.Before attending law school, Ms. Talavera received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communication Arts, graduating magna cum laude from both programs at Florida International University, along with a Certificate in Pre-Law Skills and Professional Values, and a minor in Criminal Justice in April of 2019.
